About This Faculty

Practical Digital Skills for a Technology-Driven Economy

The Faculty of Computer Science develops practical digital skills for a technology-driven economy. Students are exposed to computing concepts, problem-solving, digital tools and the practical use of technology in organisations and businesses. The faculty's philosophy is to build real-world application over theoretical knowledge alone.

The faculty encourages hands-on computer laboratory activities, projects, demonstrations and problem-based learning. Students build confidence by applying technology to practical scenarios rather than relying solely on theory — making Computer Science the most lab-centric faculty at the College.

Technology entrepreneurship is built into both the study areas and career outcomes, making self-employment a first-class pathway. A Mathematics and/or ICT background is recommended for certain programmes, reflecting the technical demands of the discipline.
